Pink Week 2011
We
are very pleased that our Pink Pilates, Swiss ball & yoga
events raised £1,020
for
Breast Cancer
Campaign
(who sent us the nice note of
congratulations shown on the right).
Although
we put in the work, the money has come from our supporters and we are
very grateful to everyone who gave cash, particularly those who were
unable to come to the Pink evenings. Those who did come
worked their way through hours of lively exercises all in a good cause.
Raising sponsorship is not easy but those who did so were very
successful and we hope they will pass on our thanks to the sponsors
themselves.
As
usual, the venues were given free of charge (as of course were our
services) and, as we didn't claim for any expenses or pay for goody bags
this year, 100% of the money has gone to the charity.
